What can be said of truth so beautifully put than that it’s true, so very true? Especially at this time in my own life and in these times for all of us, I am more daily amazed at the effect and effects, the deluge of evidence that I am so very forgotten, heroïc deeds or no such thing, even by the witness of my own heart and mind that morning to night I am left with simple breathing as the only remnant of almost seventy years’ possession and witness. Take care, my friend: the summer’s Sum is almost spent and if last winter we encountered Grendel, Grendel’s Mother is looming in the future’s jet stream just beyond the mountain of days between yet another September and October and her certain entrance in November.
